Qualifications

• Work authorization (Required)
• Preschool/Elementary Kid Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• STEM course teaching experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or pursuing Bachelor's degree (Preferred engineering degree or science degree)

About the Job

We are seeking part-time Robotics Project Instructors to instruct students from the ages of 5-14 for our new Fremont Lab. We offer training on instructing students, mastering new high-tech tools, and learning about tech trends and other high-end robotics education resources.

Do you have a passion for kids, learning and technology? Do you want to bring technology and STEM education to students everywhere? We inspire kids to challenge themselves and grow every day at Magikid Robotics Lab. Our projects emphasize STEAM, robotics and programming.

Hours are flexible! Classes mainly occur on weekday evenings and weekend mornings and afternoons. Great for educators who want some extra hours after their daycare, or school programs and want to make a difference in even more students' lives!

As a Part-Time STEM Instructor your responsibilities will include:

• Instructing children in our lab by following our curriculum (We have a great curriculum design)
• Assisting with curriculum creation
• Assisting with marketing events
• Communication with parents, i.e. sharing their children's successes!
• Helping with daily operations of the lab

Requirements:

• Have experience in STEM and working with children.
• You have to love working with kids!
• A passion for Technology and Education.

Bonus points if you:

• Have experience in robotics and coding.
• Have experience in an after-school program.
• Have experience in VEX Robotics.
• Have past experience working at a technology company or start-up.
• Be preschool or elementary school teachers looking for extra hours in the afternoon.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
