Company Description
Old Plean Roofing Ltd is a successful and expanding Roofing, Building and Maintenance
Contractor serving the domestic and commercial sector in central Scotland and beyond.
We have an opportunity for an experienced stores person/delivery drive to join our team.
Main Duties
- Be responsible for receiving, processing and checking all deliveries.
- Ensure all stock is stored in the correct manner.
- Carry out regular stock takes.
- Pick and deliver products.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
- Complete diary logs into inventory.
- Report any discrepancies.
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- May be required to help build /dismantle scaffold on site. Training will be given as
required.
Skills and Experience
- IT skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office.
- Forklift / counterbalance licence preferred.
- Experience working in a similar inventory or stock control role.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Ability to work methodically and quickly.
- Excellent time management skills and exceptional work ethics.
- Teamwork skills and ability to work independently.
- Full clean UK driving license is essential.
Hours of work Mon to Fri 8am - 4.30pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
