As Stores Person with Sodexo, you are also a multitasker and organisational authority; you will be the go-to person... the one who knows where everything is and makes sure the area operates smoothly. Working at Springfield University Hospital, You will assist in delivering service excellence throughout the operation, always ensuring that the necessary goods are received, delivered, and recorded. You will make sure that Manual Handling guidelines and Health and Safety regulations are followed, that your work areas operating effectively, and that any problems or non-compliances are reported. What you’ll do:

• Maintain operations by receiving items and verifying that the quality and quantity meet the needed specifications, as well as that all goods are stored and handled in accordance with legislative rules and Sodexo policy.
• Compare incoming and outgoing shipments to bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records to verify information, invoices verifying and keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Ensuring the deliveries are checked for damage.
• Incoming and outgoing supplies are compared to bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records to verify information, invoices are checked, and records of incoming and outgoing shipments are kept.
• Support Patient dining team with transport of goods within various areas of hospital.

What you bring:

• A positive attitude and ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect
• IT literacy with a thorough grasp and competency in using Microsoft packages.
• Willingness to be open to learning and growing
