SUPERVISOR - WELLINGBOROUGH DISTRIBUTION CENTRE

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supervisor in our Distribution Centre in Wellingborough.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the DC management team with effectively managing the operation, seeking opportunities to maximise productivity and efficiency whilst ensuring barometers and KPI's are acheived.

What will you do as Distribution Centre Supervisor?

• Work closely with the management team to ensure the general day to day running of the operation is maintained.
• Provide guidance, direction and leadership to your team, motivating them to use their knowledge and skills to acheive our goals.
• Drive overall performance of the Distribution Centre, identifying opportunities for improvements where possible
• Ensure all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to and all colleagues are fully trained.
• Communicate openly and effectively
• Communicate targets and requirements with your team, review progress and performance.
• Actively step up to cover management when required.

What will you need to succeed as a Distribution Centre Manager?

• Ability to work under pressure, be self motivated and adaptable, able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
• Good communication skills with the ability to adapt your style to suit others
• Flexble approach and ability to work across shifts, 5 days out of 7.
• Experience in managing a team
• Good organisational skills with the ability to react quickly to challenges
• Knowledge of Red Prairie would be an advantage
