WHAT TO EXPECT

A new and exciting opportunity has been created within the Supply Chain Material Fulfilment team. As a Supply Chain Tower Planner, you will play a key role as Supply Chain Tower Co-Ordinator responsible for overall project planning and governance of the Supply Chain Control Tower. You will work closely with the Tower Manager and squad teams to ensure seamless reporting to executives of critical part supply issues and act a central point of co-ordination for Material Fulfilment.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Essential:

• 
  Previous experience of working in a Project Support role within a large company
• Demonstrates experience of process improvement and working in a project support role.
• Good understanding of project management principles
• Proficient communication and organisational skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Extensive experience of working with cross functional teams
• Degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred.
• Good MS Office suite: Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• An effective team player, actively leads, develops and supports team members.
• An individual who is resilient, energetic and enthusiastic, able to deliver results under pressure, whilst responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs.
• An individual with the ability to combine a short term, pragmatic focus with longer term planning.

Desirable:

• 
  Experience of working in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
• Experience of metric and reporting delivery to support programme delivery.
• An individual who enables speed in decision making through establishing alignment, clarity, appropriate resources and sense of urgency whilst bringing others along.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  Plan overall governance of Supply Chain Tower to ensure seamless reporting to Executives. Managing meeting agenda, invites, pack creation, robust action closure and metrics.
• Assistance with quarterly Material Fulfilment Village Hall events, generation of themes, agenda, buy-off from Senior Management.
• Coordinate development of operational processes for Material Fulfilment ensuring they are recorded and held in the Jaguar Land Rover Way.
• Encourage knowledge transfer and lessons learnt across the Material Fulfilment area.
• Drive adherence to compliance of Regulatory, Corporate or Process through the introduction of a range of relevant methodologies, tracking and reporting of these metrics and manage the on-going development.
• Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.
