We are currently recruiting for a Support Chef, to join the Central Support Team at Hand Picked Hotels
Hand Picked Hotels is one of the best luxury Hotel groups in the UK and Channel Islands, and we are looking for Support Chefs to join our team, to provide cover, support and experience to our brigades. This role will require a lot of travel (all business mileage paid of course) and will require you to have your own transport, a willingness to be away from home for up to 8 weeks at a time (we will organise a hotel room for you) and the emotional intelligence to provide support and guidance in another Chef’s kitchen.
This is a full time, contracted and permanent role and not a substitute for agency/casual work.
About you:
- You’ll have previous experience in a similar environment and role
- You’ll be a stickler for hygiene and be able to demonstrate best practice
- Your knowledge of food and technical skills will be outstanding
- You’ll feel comfortable in a fast-paced, busy environment
- Most of all, you’ll have an approachable, positive and proactive manner
