We are looking for a positive and motivated Support Worker to support our male adult client who has an acquired brain injury. He lives in his own home with his family and has complex care needs. He suffered a brain injury and as a result has physical and communication impairments. You will have with a commitment to promoting and maintaining an independent lifestyle.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills while delivering care for him in his own home
Shifts will be mostly day, evening and sleeping nights, with flexibility to cover additional shifts when required, 2:1 staff ratio is required.
The post therefore requires that you work as part of a team and to conduct yourself in a manner that is acceptable to the employer.
You will work closely with others, such as Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in providing the highest standards of health care.
He has an adapted vehicle to enable his carers to take him out in the community. It is important for a support worker to have a full driving licence.
You will be expected to maintain excellent levels of hygiene and implement any infection control measures. In order to do this PPE and training will be provided for you role.
Shifts: 36 Hour full time
12 hours shifts - Days/Nights

NCM work closely with the client and their family or representative to provide tailored support packages for clients in their own homes.
The client or their deputy can be the employer or NCM can be the employer.
