I have a fantastic opportunity to support and make a different to the lives of children and young people within either a supported living setting or a residential children's home.
Job Details:
- Support Worker
- Supporting either children or young people aged between 17-21 with a background of challenging behaviours
- The services either support up to 5 young people or 3 children.
- You will work with the staff team to offer effective and efficient support
- Provide therapeutic and bespoke support, following and managing care plans
- Arrange and take part in activities
- You will work to deliver the best possible outcomes for the young people in your care, within a caring, homely environment.
- You will promote relationships between staff, young people and the community
- Vacancies are in Bradford, Calderdale and Kirklees
Salary and Contract Details:
- £10.50ph - £11.44ph
- Sleep in allowance £60 per sleep
- Full-time, permanent contract
- 37 hours a week
- Working 1 on, 2 off
- 10 am start, through to 10:30 am the following day (including a sleep in) 3-week rota
Requirements Details:
- Driving licence and use of vehicle and able to add business insurance to vehicle
- Experience is desirable, not essential.
