Support Worker

JOB DESCRIPTION

· To support the daily activities at Badgers Den, keeping the welfare and safety and promoting independence of the service users of upmost importance

· To meet the care needs of the service users that attend the Den

· Support service users with personal care and support at mealtimes and medication administration at times

· To access the community, representing the company in a professional and safe manner

· To liaise directly with management on all health and safety and matters regarding service users

· To always maintain the cleanliness of the centre

· To be self-motivated and communicate well with colleagues and service users alike

· To support service users with safe money management

· All independent living skills to be promoted such as cooking, budgeting, planning trips etc

· Completing communication books for those that have them

· To keep up to date on mandatory training provided by Badgers Den

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 21 per week

Salary: From £10.42 per hour
