Support Worker (Female)

Immediate start available & priority given to candidates with a Portable DBS,

We have a fantastic new position available, supporting a lovely lady with Autism in her own home, in Finedon.

Experience with Autism would be an advantage.

Candidate must hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have use of a car to get to work as our client is based in a village on the A6 between Kettering and Higham Ferrers.

Rota pattern between Monday - Sunday, with a mixture of Day & Evening/Night Shifts

Day Shift - 08:00 - 17.00 hrs

Evening Shift - 08.00 - 21.00 hrs

Night Shift - 17:00 - 08:00 hrs

Responsibilities and Duties

• The role involves supporting a lady in her own home to live an independent and fulfilling life.
• Support workers attend social activities, access the community and attend medical appointments with their client.
• You will assist clients in maintaining contact with their families and friends, and encourage and motivate them to try new activities and visit new places.
• Client Personal Care is required.

Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate will;

• Preferably have previous experience in care, but we do welcome applications from those with no experience as full training will be given.
• Previous working knowledge of Autism would be beneficial.
• Have a kind and caring attitude.
• Believe that every person is unique regardless of their abilities and needs.
• Full UK driving licence required.
