The Royal Borough of Greenwich is looking to recruit a highly motivated and proactive Sustainability Officer as part of our Housing Energy and Sustainability team.
The Royal Borough of Greenwich declared a climate emergency in 2019 and we have set an ambitious target to reach to net zero carbon by 2030. Within the Directorate of Housing and Safer Communities, we recognise that in order to meet this target it is crucial that we dramatically improve the energy efficiency of our homes. We are passionate about ensuring that homes in the Borough are comfortable, energy efficient, low-carbon, and safe.
Our team is responsible for developing and delivering a housing decarbonisation strategy. The new Sustainability Officer will support the team both strategically and in project delivery.
