Job introduction

The Governors of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School are looking to recruit a kind, patient person to support a child in Reception with social, communication and sensory needs and a desire to move around a lot!

Paid weeks per year: 47.15 inclusive of holiday entitlement

Fixed term: Until 21 July 2023

Start date: As soon as possible

About the role

Your role will be to encourage them to be with the group, stay and feel safe and build on their want to participate more with the class. They will reward you with warmth and gentleness. An understanding of working with children with these needs would be beneficial but not essential; we will support and train you in house.

Working hours are 8.30am to 12.30pm Monday to Friday.

Closing date: 3 April 2023
