About the Role:
Lloyd & Whyte Group are pleased to be recruiting for an Exeter based Operations Team Leader, to help effectively lead our Northcott Beaton team.
This role will be integral to the effective running of our Exeter office, working in partnership with the Operation Director to deliver the existing business retention and income targets whilst continuing to fulfil an element of the Insurance Consultant role.
You will also help to develop both individual and team performance through identification of training needs and appropriate implementation of development plans through effective leadership, ensuring cultural, service and lead generation objectives are achieved, all in support of the wider business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
· Provide leadership and support to direct reports
· Achieve individual objectives and key performance indicators as set and agreed
· Deliver existing business retention and income targets
· Deliver service KPIs and meet workflow standards, including service excellence whilst maintaining a culture of ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ and putting the client first, with consistent delivery of the right customer outcomes
· Organise and monitor daily workflow and productivity for the team as required
· Promote, develop and enable our values and culture within the team and across the business
· Instil a culture of professional development within the team, including qualification, product and technical knowledge with relevant competency levels achieved and maintained
· Manage and develop individual and team performance through identification of training needs & implementation of coaching and development plans; working in conjunction with the Operational Director where appropriate
· Operate within an agreed resource budget; prioritising and allocating resource effectively and recruiting suitable people in accordance with current employment legislation
· Ensure scheme underwriting guidelines, compliance, and company policy and procedures are followed consistently to minimise risk to the company
· Complete call and file assessments as required by the Operations Director and take action accordingly
