We have an exciting new role in our Adult and Community Services (ACS), Specialist Directs Payment Review Team as a Team Manager, based at Landmark House in Ipswich.
Provision of Direct Payments that enable greater choice and control for adults is enshrined in the Care Act. We know that increased uptake of Direct Payments will be central to social care reform. In ACS, we have the ambition to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our Direct Payment offer.
To achieve our ambitions, we first need to work with those who already receive Direct Payments, completing reviews and ensuring they have coproduced, clear and meaningful support plans in place.
We are establishing a countywide team approach to enable consistency, get our reviews up-to-date and support improvements in our Direct Payment delivery across ACS.
To make this happen we need a team manager with the passion and energy to lead and coordinate this new centralised Direct Payments Team as well as use their skills and knowledge to shape and influence our refreshed Direct Payment offer.
