Telecommunications Engineer

Telecom Rentals require an experienced telephone system installer with ideally a background in installing Yeastar systems and Yealink handsets, but any other system experience would be sufficient with the relevant training.

This is a field-based role, and you will be installing and maintaining clients throughout the Northwest which could also involve longer travel to different parts of the country on certain occasions.

Key duties will include:

• Installing, surveying, maintaining and configuring telephone IP and legacy PBX, WIFI and CCTV NVR systems
• Running Cat 5e cabling,1308 cabling and Cat 5e termination (modules, plugs, panels and testing)
• External and internal cabling, installing trunking
• Working at height (ladders and powered access equipment) and working in small spaces (lofts, basements, false ceilings)
• Investigating and rectifying faults
• Configuring routers with FTTP, FTTC, SOGEA details
• Configuring routers and WIFI access points to customer requirements for WIFI coverage
• Training customers on systems

Usual package - Car, phone, laptop and 28 days holiday. Mondays to Fridays, no weekends.
