K&S Civil Contracts Ltd have two divisions: Mobile Telecoms & EV Charging.

Both divisions are based in Glasgow and operate throughout Scotland and North England.

Our sister company K&S Electrical Ltd work across both divisions to provide our clients with a turnkey solution for any installation.

Our team has over 25 years’ experience in building and maintaining sites for the UK’s major mobile telecommunication providers.

K&S Civil Contracts Ltd - We deal with all aspects of civil engineering and have completed various successful projects all over the UK. We currently work for various clients ranging from local authorities to national companies. We specialise in mobile telecoms & electic vehicle charging stations.

Due to the company expanding and the current growth of contracts, we are looking for experienced ground workers specifically in utility’s who have experience working in the telecommunication sector. The work consists of the following all over the UK:

• Ducting
• Concrete Shuttering/Foundations
• Kerb Laying
• Re-instatement Works (Tar, Slabs, Blockwork ect)
• Lightening Protection Works
• Installation Of Bollards

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a 2 person gang carrying out the ground works required in line with the gangers instructions and capability
• Ensure that all work is carried out safely complying with all Health & Safety Regulations and adhere strictly to the NRSWA Act 1991
• Complete work in the time frame allowed through efficiency and self-management
• Liaise with the project supervisor to ensure jobs are correctly completed and in the sequence required
• Maintain a professional and polite working manner at all times
• Ensure that all works are completed to the client's satisfaction
• Report any defects, non-conformance or unsafe working conditions to the project supervisor and contracts manager
• Retain a clean and safe site and ensure that all sites are set up in the correct manner following the correct procedures
• Complete all site handover documents including site photos and return to contracts manager

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in ground works within the utility sector
• CSCS Card or Safety Passport
• Full UK Driving License
• NRWSA/Street works Card
• 360 Excavator Operators Card
• SHEA power card
• Streetworks
• Emergency first aid certificate
• Abrasive Wheels Training

If asked to work away from home then accommodation will be provided as well as a Meal Allowance of £20 per night.
