Textile Production Operative

The hours are currently working 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am WEEKLY ROTATING, Monday to Friday. Hours may change to suit business needs, so it is essential you are flexible. (i.e. possible 10/12 hour shifts)

The Hiring Heroes are privileged to be working with an established Textile company based in WF5 Ossett. They are currently looking for textile operatives to join their expanding business. They are currently looking for production operatives to train up and develop into permanent members of staff.

Job Role

• Working on a production line.
• Boxing and inspecting of finished products.
• Running and operating machinery to ensure maximum production.
• Reporting any faults to the team leader.
• Working alongside other team members.

What they are looking for : -

Someone wanting a full time permanent position, for health and safety reasons must speak a good level of English.

Benefits after training : -

• £10.25 per hour (1st April this rises to £10.42ph) Salary rise to £11.17 per hour after completion of training (post 12 weeks)

They’re Working hours that reflect seasonal or other peaks and troughs in production. These hours are predetermined by you and your employee.

It allows businesses to match their resources with the trends in demand for their product or service. The aim is to have personnel present and ready to work when needed and not at work during periods of low activity. But the monthly pay will be the same.
