We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and

experienced Tiler to join our busy and skilled workshop team.

This is a full time, permanent vacancy of 42 hours per week. Working hours -

Monday-Thursday 7.30am – 5pm

Friday 7.30am – 1.30pm

Main duties will include –

· Calculating number of tiles and adhesive required for area.

• Cutting tiles to a certain size or shape with hand-cutters or bench-mounted tools. To include decorative tiles, ceramic, clay, slate, marble and glass.
• Fixing the tiles to area and applying grout before finishing off.
• Preparing surfaces and protecting surrounding areas to ensure a clean and safe work space.

Skills

• Being patient and precise.
• Being thorough, with good attention to detail.
• Have thinking and reasoning skills.
• Able to work well under pressure.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate that they can work under their own initiative and as part of a team.

Must have good attention to detail and quality of work

Must be reliable and punctual.

Salary is negotiable dependent on experience - between £12-£14 per hour.

Due to the unique nature of the work training will be given.
