Day Traffic Planner
Our client is recruiting for a team player, self-motivated, dedicated with the desire to succeed, improve our operations and able to offer the following .
- Have experience working within a busy transport office as a traffic planner
- Have a high level of communication skills with the ability to build excellent relationships with drivers, suppliers, customers and team mates
- Be able to problem solve and plan/route own allocated vehicles effectively
- Be able to operate systems such as Destin8, TOPs, Port VBS systems.
The role would also include the following
- Providing excellent customer service and communication
- Ensuring vehicles are presented on time for servicing and maintenance schedules
- Welcoming new and agency drivers, assisting with inductions and ensuring the relevant compliance checks are completed
- Briefing and debriefing of drivers and nights team
- Updating of all relevant systems
- Ensuring the security of the depot is maintained and health and safety guidelines are followed
