Trainee Architectural Technician

We are seeking a trainee Architectural Technician to join our busy practice. Qualifications and experience required;

• Working to, but not essential, HND/HNC/Degree Building Studies, Architecture, or similar.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD software.(training will be provided).

• Knowledge of Sketchup Pro (training will be provided).

• Knowledge in Microsoft 365 Office Suite.(training will be provided).

Role and Responsibilities (working to)

• To take instruction from senior members of the practice and work alongside the design team.

• Travelling to and from sites and aiding in the carrying out of dimensional and level surveys of properties.

• Working to producing full existing drawings from survey information.

• Working to producing full planning drawings and documents.

• Working to submitting Planning Applications and overseeing the process until determination.

• Working to producing full technical drawings and specifications to Building Regulations.

• Working to submitting Building Regulation applications and overseeing the process.

This is a permanent full-time role based at our Snettisham Design Practice, with Monday to Friday working hours between 9:00am and 5:30pm.
