Trainee Bus Driver

we have vacancies for PCV licence holders with a valid Driver CPC card and Trainee Bus drivers (wanting to obtain your licence). at our Rochford depot.

If you want to be part of a small team at our Rochford depot driving our regular customers to and from their place of work, or driving our school contracts to and from their designated schools in the the busy areas or countryside, and while doing all of this can deliver service within a high standard and a smile, then get in touch we would love to hear from you!?.

You’ll need to have a PCV licence, and the ability to obtain a DBS clearance to drive school services. You must also need to be reliable ,enthusiastic and take pride in you driving ability, as this is the key factors we want our drivers to have whilst working for us at Stephensons buses.

If you haven’t yet obtained your PCV licence then we can also provide you with help in obtaining your licence at our training school. You’ll be taught by one of our instructors on a Monday-Friday basis at the Training School rate of £9.50 p/h. Then once qualified and your training has been completed, you will then be put on our normal daily rate of £12.00 p/h.

In exchange for your commitment and hard work we can offer:

• 4/5 day minimum working week/weekend Monday to Saturday(Saturday work varies)
• Mon / Friday £12.00 per hour

• No Sunday working on rotas or Bank Holidays (We do however cover rail replacement work on Sundays and Bank Holidays (voluntary), this is paid at £16 per hour (which isn’t always available all the time.)

Experience:

• driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
