Trainee Laboratory Analyst

RSK Asbestos is a UKAS accredited consultancy, with offices in Hemel Hempstead, Coventry, Helsby and Glasgow, and the capacity to provide comprehensive asbestos consultancy services across the country. RSK Asbestos have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee laboratory Analyst to join our team in Coventry.

Responsibilities:

After training, you may undertake:

• Laboratory analysis of asbestos samples
• Preparing plans of the surveyed properties
• Data entry of survey data
• In addition to your normal duties, you may occasionally be required to undertake additional work necessary to meet the needs of the business, without additional remuneration.

Person Specification:

• Previous laboratory/IT experience useful
• Familiar with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
• Candidates should work well on their own initiative, under pressure and also within part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Methodical work approach
• Well organised

Please note that all suitable applicants will need a full, clean UK drivers licence and in the main will be expected to use their own vehicle and claim back mileage. All employees working within this division must complete a CRB check.
