Trainee Manufacturing & Production Operative

Job Summary

House of Flags Ltd are one of the leading UK suppliers of large format visually effective digital display solutions, along the with the manufacture of traditional handsewn flags and Flagpoles. The company offers its customers a complete solution from design, manufacture through to installation.

As part of our growth plans for 2023 we are looking to take on manufacturing and production trainees.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Main Purpose of the Job is to learn all aspect from design, production to dispatching and installation.

• Creating artwork proofs
• Loading and unloading machines
• Digital Print manufacturing
• Industrial Sewing
• Quality Checking
• Dispatching
• Installation

Ideal Experience and Skills

• Adobe Illustrator
• Working with Textiles
• Sewing Machine Skills
• Good hand and eye coordination
• Manual Handling Experience (for loading and unloading machines etc)
• Ability to communicate with members of the team and with external customers.
