Trainee Nursery Practitioner

About the nursery

Set in a picturesque town with close links to the Bath and Warminster, our privately owned nursery ensures positive experiences for children aged 0-5 years. The nursery takes pride in their "Outstanding" facilities, and provides innovative and creative ways they provide learning opportunities for the children about the world around them.

The nursery was uniquely designed to enable curious minds to explore, learn and grow in their natural world, encouraging confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences.

About you

We are looking for someone that lives and breathes a passion for childcare....who isn't afraid to have fun and get involved in the day to day activities with the children! Experience isn't necessary, but would be a bonus. Its important that you have good communication skills, so that you can support the children's language development, as well as to be able to build strong and trusting relationships with our parents. As long as you can do these things, we can teach you the rest!

A bit about you

• A Level 2/3 qualification in Childcare is not essential, but would be a bonus
• You MUST have a big smile on your face that will make each child's face light up when they see you
• You will find joy in the little moments in life...such as laugh when you hear the children laugh, and smile when you see the children's faces when their favourite meal is served to them
• You must be organised and be good at time keeping
• You will need to bring oodles of patience and a sense of humour! We are a social bunch at the nursery who love getting together for regular training (and parties!)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £15,500.00-£21,600.00 per year
