Our Langley distribution centre is a hive of activity, housing our main stock holding. All the products we supply pass through this busy hub at some stage.

People are at the heart of London Stone. Our Langley Distribution Centre is home to our operations, logistics, buying and accounts team

The Job

The role is fast paced, you will be responsible for a variety of different tasks and must be able to work under pressure and organise your workload. You will be working closely with our Transport Supervisor and Transport Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in accordance with company H&S and environmental policy
• All tasks to be carried out as per the company standard
• Use 3rd Party Haulier’s softwares to book in new deliveries
• Liaise with the 3rd Party hauliers to get ETA’s when required
• Dealing with customer enquiries
• Reply to any transport enquiries via the Whatsapp service
• Contact customers to notify them of potential delays/cancelled deliveries
• Scanning of all operations tickets
• Continually improve processes using lean tools and methods
• Assist the management team to ensure department goals and KPI objectives are achieved

Monday to Friday 8am until 4'30pm with 30 minute unpaid break

30 days for Holiday (including bank holidays). We are closed on bank bank Holidays and over the Christmas period.
