Transport Operations Manager

Pay Rate: £39,000 to £40,000
Contract Type: Secondment (Full-Time) - 6 Months
Shift patterns: Monday - Friday - 8am - 5.30pm
Location: Patient Transport London (EN3 4NQ)

DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Transportation Operations Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily transportation and logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management practices and a demonstrative understanding of storage and distribution procedures.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Leading Teams Leaders and Shift Managers within the Transport Department

• Support the management of the wider Transport Department in achieving the collective strategies and goals.



• This key role will support the contract by ensuring the effective management of the Hospital Services. Comprise of Debriefing of ACA'S, Day to day running of the transport office with Compliance around health and saftey and processess.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Financial and operational knowledge, from within a Transport Services setting

• Ability to analyse operations and to work within a greater team to deliver on KPI performance

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Knowledge of Transport Regulationsl
