Job purpose

We are looking for a talented UI Designer to work in a lean, collaborative manner to shape the experiences of the Soldo products. As a Designer in Soldo, you will collaborate with Product Owners, other Designers and Engineers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction and visuals through web and mobile experiences, developing use cases and high-level requirements.

You are able to augment and adapt a style guide or a design system to what you need, building on it appropriately. You use correct interaction paradigms, and can explain the reasons why.

You are able to communicate in detail about the design of a product, and can implement design assets and style guides. You understand the balance between pixel perfect designs and speed of shipping. You are able to create and modify any component used in the product, using elements from design systems and the most up to date front-end practices.

We're looking for someone who must have:

• Ability to design UI solutions quickly, in response to business need.
  
• Exceptional ability with visual design. Finger on the pulse of trends, tools and techniques.
  
• Have experience creating solutions for web as well as native apps demonstrated by a strong portfolio
  
• Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Figma, Adobe CS Suite, and Principle.
  
• Own a strong sense of personal motivation, being able to work independently with a proactive attitude in solving complex problems in different contexts.
  
• Great communication skills, strong Interaction design work with the ability to convey concepts through wireframes and user flows.
  
  

• Experience in Fintech and understanding of the industry.
  
• Understand typography, colour theory, grid systems and deep knowledge of user interface approaches across various digital platforms.
  
• Familiarity with development software and development processes.
  
• Basic understanding of Front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, REACT, JavaScript.
