UK – Transport Operator
Due to continued expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join a fast-paced Transport Team with a progressive Company.
Working alongside a dedicated planning team your role would include communicating with drivers, customers & suppliers, administration and IT project support. A knowledge of the local area and an interest in Transport and Logistics would be advantageous.
Main responsibilities include:
o Building jobs on the Mandata TMS system & booking in jobs
o Obtaining/scanning proof of deliveries
o Assisting senior traffic operators with the planning of local vehicles
o Communicating with customers, drivers and the wider office team
o Liaising with sub-contractors and customers on the status of jobs
o Supporting with the pallet network operation
o Assisting with the rollout of technology and IT project’s
o Core Skills required:
o A confident and professional telephone manner
o Computer literacy in Excel and Word
o Good communication skills
o Good at multi-tasking
o Ability to prioritise
o Organised
o Team Player
