A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Waiter/ess to join the Pool team at The Berkeley.

Its signature experiences include the famed Blue Bar, The Berkeley Bar & Terrace, Michelin-starred dining in ‘Marcus’ by Marcus Wareing and our Bamford Health Club & Spa.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

As a Waiter/ess you will have an excellent knowledge of our food and beverages menu, will be advising our guests on our range of fine wines and champagnes to complement their dishes and enhancing their dining experience.

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• Be familiar with the menu and beverage list and to be able to make recommendations accordingly.
• Welcome each guest in a warm and friendly manner and provide them with a memorable dining experience at The Berkeley.
• Handle cash and credit cards after the guest has requested the bill, ensuring that all items are posted and the correct change/receipt will be handed out.
• Work accurately and efficiently in a team at all times, to maintain effective communication within the department and ensure that the manager is kept informed of any incidents/complaints or problems that have arisen throughout the day.
• Contribute in maintaining an excellent level of service in conjunction with the minimum requirement of the LQA standards at all times.
