Warehouse Assistant (full-time)

Trade Systems (Shelving Plus Ltd) is a 3rd generation family run business in Kingston upon Thames. We are good humoured and hard working.

We are looking for a Warehouse Worker to join our team and help with the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing products and materials, as well as performing inventory control and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, an ability to lift heavy objects, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Load and unload items from trucks and containers.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
• Pack and label items for shipment.
• Use scanners to track items.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.42 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kingston upon Thames: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
