Warehouse & Fulfilment Manager

Crossflight Ltd is the UK’s leading independent International and UK express courier. We offer worldwide solutions in courier, freight, mail and storage and fulfilment logistics.

Operating out of our combined warehouses (15,000 sq ft) located in Kings Norton Birmingham, the Fulfilment & Logistics division of Crossflight is a key part of our services we offer to our clients.

Stock is received, stored and then as and when required, picked and packed for distribution out of our Heathrow HQ.

We are recruiting for a Warehouse & Fulfilment Manager to have direct responsibility for the day-to-day operations in an efficient and effective manner of our facility and team of people.

You should be able to lead a small team and be confident to communicate with clients in any capacity, on the phone, email or video calls or face to face meetings.

Crossflight benefits from having and developing our own IT software, so you must be confident and competent in IT communications including Excel & Stock reporting software.

Key Tasks:

• Management and motivation of a small team that includes an Office Administration, and a Fulfilment team
• The ability to ensure the fulfilment team completes requests from clients in a timely and accurate manner
• The introduction of innovative systems, procedures and methods to encourage growth, profitability and exceptional customer service.
• The continued implementation of company HR policy relating to sickness, welfare, holidays, employee work reviews and disciplinary procedure.
• Health and Safety compliance
• The overall cleanliness and order of the working areas.

Skills & Experience required:

• Experience working in Warehouse & Order Fulfilment industry in a similar role
• Highly organised, with an acute attention to detail
• Able to take and pass on instructions
• Manage and exceed customer expectations
• Able to give professional and clear communication to clients and suppliers
• Proactive
• High Level of IT & Data entry skills, including Excel

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £36,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus scheme
