Warehouse Operative

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our growing team. We specialize in remanufacture car parts so knowledge of car parts, order picking and forklift driving would be highly beneficial. Previous experience within a warehousing environment is essential in this role.

The role of the successful applicant will work within a close-knit team to pick and put away products, pack products, banding pallets and general warehouse duties. Forklift drivers and Order Pickers advantageous but not essential.

The successful candidate will pay close attention to detail, but punctual, dedicated, enthusiastic and highly driven. A desire to deliver excellent customer service and someone who always has the customer in mind when completing a task. A member of the team that adheres closely to health and safety regulations and does not cut corners due to the high-risk nature of the role. Operatives will need good time management and the ability to work well in a team as well as working alone on tasks.

This role is a full time, permanent role working Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.00am -3.30pm with opportunities for overtime where required.

The desired candidate will have:

• Have previous experience within a warehousing environment
• Have a brief knowledge of car parts
• Have worked in a factory environment previously
• Be keen, courteous and strive for improvement
• Experience of booking in Core Car Parts would be advantageous in this role
• Work involves handling scrap car parts

Salary starting at £11.50ph.
