WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

Hours of work: Mon – Fri 6am-3pm, Mon – Fri 3pm – 12pm

As a Warehouse Operative you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to the efficient running of the despatch / distribution process. You must also be willing to work flexible hours including weekends, nightshifts, early starts and late finishes as required. This role can also involve holiday/absence cover across differing shift patterns.

The role will require:

• Receipting and despatching of goods
• Stock management
• Waste management
• Machine operation
• Housekeeping
• General yard work
• General warehouse duties

Candidate Requirements;

Essential:

• Good general level of education
• Good work ethic and be flexible and reliable
• Ability to demonstrate you can work with minimum supervision
• Previous relevant experience in a despatch or warehouse environment with proven ability to provide a high level of customer service

Preferable:

• Recent and frequent certified fork-truck driving and/or shunter driving experience
• Machine operation experience
• Proficient in IT
