Warehouse Operative

They are a successful and rapidly growing privately owned business providing heat treatment, gear cutting and surface engineering of metal components to a wide range of blue-chip customers, they are looking to increase headcount at their Huddersfield site by recruiting a Warehouse Operative on a permanent basis.

This employer is based in Huddersfield and the successful Warehouse Operative will easily be able to commute from surrounding towns & cities including Oldham, Rochdale, Halifax, Brighouse, Bradford, and Elland.

Warehouse Operative Duties:

• Using the FLT to load/unload vehicles in accordance with daily requirements
• Deliver all components/materials to all lines
• Remove all excess goods from production lines within the specified time frame
• Liaising with both internal and external customers
• Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment

Experience of the Warehouse Operative:

• Experience of working within, warehousing/ manufacturing environments
• Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• In date FLT Counterbalance Licence
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

In return, the Warehouse Operative will receive:

• Hourly rate of £11.00 per hour
• Working days Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
• Holiday Entitlement: 31 days per annum
• Overtime paid at uplifted rates
• Cycle to work scheme: Eligible after successful 3-month probation period
• Permanent employment with a well-established business
