Warehouse Operative - Hemel Hempstead

Job Summary:

We are an e-commerce mail-order company selling a range of Auto Parts Accessories & DIY equipment. We are recruiting warehouse team members to join us for a full time position in Hemel Hempstead. We are looking for upbeat, easy going candidates to join the team.

Role Summary:

The main duties will include handling all aspects of goods in / out. You will be required to rotate stock, replenish shelves, and do other warehouse tasks. Tasks such as picking and packing orders and end-of-day clean up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking /Packing
• Scanning and sorting goods
• Stacking boxes onto pallets and shrink wrapping

• General Housekeeping
• Follow/adhere to Safe working practices and Site Health & Safety
• Restocking & rotation of goods on the warehouse shelves

• Load and unload delivery truck/containers with goods.
• Other duties as required

Requirements:

• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to use your own initiative
• Have a good level of reading and speaking English
• Be able to start immediately
• A forklift license is not essential but is an advantage
• Have a basic knowledge and understanding of health and safety requirements
