Warehouse Operative (Part-Time)

The Role

Ambilight is seeking a part-time talented Warehouse Operative to join the team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive person who is looking to further their career in Warehouse Operations. Main responsibilities of the role will be having responsibility for the picking and packing of new orders, working with our sales team to ensure orders are dispatched in a timely fashion, keeping our stock in the warehouse arranged in a tidy fashion, assisting with unpacking new deliveries, gaining an understanding of our product range. This role is initially part-time for 4 days per week (Monday to Wednesday and Friday), but there is scope for an increase in hours in future if the candidate is successful.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing of new orders
• Ensuring our warehouse is arranged tidily
• Getting new items ready for despatch
• Assistance with new orders
• Working with sales team on new orders and replacement orders
• Assistance with stock management
• Unpacking and storage of new deliveries

Key Skills

• Experienced in warehouse operations
• Experience in packaging
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective time management skills
• Pro-active and able to use own initiative
• Pay attention to detail and work with accuracy
• Ability to work to deadlines
