Warehouse Operative with Counterbalance
Menzies Distribution are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative who holds a Counterbalance Licence to join our team. You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customers, providing a first class service with our team in Ashton (BS3 2HQ).
What You Really Want to Know:
- The salary for this role is £24,480.00 (£13.08 per hour)
- This is based on a 36 hour working week
- A Counterbalance Licence is mandatory but Order Skill would be a great bonus.
- Security Clearance is required for this position
- 20 days plus Bank Holidays
- The working week is Monday to Thursday 7:30 to 16:00 and Friday 7:30 to 12.30.
A day in the life as a FLT Driver for Menzies Distribution might include any of the following:
- Picking and putting away pallets in the warehouse
- Secure picked product onto pallets for forward transportation.
- Correctly check documentation and delivery paperwork..
- Comply with safe working practices at all times.
- Undertake any other reasonable job instruction to support the supply of a quality service to the customer.
- General Housekeeping Duties.
