Job Description

Warehouse Operator

  • Order picking and packing of goods within a warehouse environment
  • Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork
  • Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures
  • Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors
  • Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment
  • Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods
  • Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules
  • Assisting with warehouse inventory controls, which typically involves using a hand-held scanner
  • Treating merchandise with care and concern at all times


Job responsibilities

  • To check incoming/outgoing stock and recording

  • Order picking and packing of goods within a warehouse environment.

  • Drive fork lift truck / counter balance truck to transport material

  • Basic document completion re picking sheets and stock

  • Stock-taking duties

Key skills

  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills are essential
  • Previous warehousing experience desirable although full training will be given
  • Must be willing and flexible re duties
  • Current, clean driving licence for driving Company vehicles
  • Team worker, reliable, accurate and methodical in practice

Working Hours

  • 3 Shift Rotation
  • Monday - Friday 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am
