Warehouse Operative/General Administrator

We are a busy Clothing Manufacturer based in Failsworth and are now looking to Recruit a Warehouse Operative/General Administrator to handle inward goods, signing delivery notes, un packing goods checking and storing goods as they arrive, moving them around the warehouse, picking raw materials and loading for Export. To provide stock keeping and ensuring stored goods tally with stock records.

MUST BE ABLE TO USE COMPUTER - EXCEL/WORD

Key Tasks

To take delivery from all couriers and distribute to relevant persons.

• Unpack all parcels/trims-check-sign off delivery note/photo copy
• allocate to styles - provide swatches - highlighting any problems to the buyer
• Picking trims/fuse materials for Export picks.
• Correct loading of raw materials onto Export trucks.
• Keeping the warehouse in a tidy and safe working environment.
• To provide stock taking duties as and when required.

Other tasks

• Receive Post and distribute.
• Make ups boxes for all UPS parcels for the teams UPS parcels.
• Prepare UPS Invoices
• Hand UPS to couriers.
• Any other appropriate admin task as and when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £7.50-£11.25 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Oldham, M35 9BG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Warehouse Pickers & Packers: 3 years (required)
