Warehouse Team Leader

We have a fantastic opportunity for a self motivated individual to join our Team at APAC Group Ltd as a Warehouse Team leader.

The successful candidate will lead and manage a small team ensuring orders continue to be processed and the Warehouse is running efficiently and effectively

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• To work alongside and manage and lead a small team of warehouse staff.
• This is a hands-on role working on the floor with the team helping to bring in deliveries, making sure picking and packing targets are met and orders are printed daily.
• Ensure that stock levels are monitored and maintained.
• Organise and confirm the daily deliveries, checking goods in and out and processing the associated paperwork accordingly.
• Ensure that the warehouse is clean, safe and efficiently operated.
• Ensure that the team daily targets are met.
• Hold regular meetings and performance manage the team when required.
• To support the Warehouse Managers in delivering a professional, cost effective and efficient method of warehouse operations.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Previous supervisory / team leading experience gained within a warehouse / distribution environment is highly desirable.
• You will be self motivated and have a dedicated approach.
• Strong communication and people skills are essential.
• You will have strong organisational and time management skills, be able to make quick decisions and prioritise tasks depending on changing workloads.
• Ability to lead and develop a team, with a dedication to achieve results.
• Demonstrate Leadership skills with the ability to adapt to, and lead people through change.
• Good numeracy, spoken and written communication skills.

• Strong IT skills and knowledge of WMS.

The Shifts are Monday to Friday, Hours to be discussed. (40 hours per week)

We are SEDEX audited with full Smeta report., as well as having ISO 9001 and FSC status.
