Job Description

The WA Cooke Group Engineers division are currently recruiting multi-skilled welder/fabricators to undertake a wide variety of steel engineering and fabrication projects ranging from bespoke structures such as access platforms, skid mounts, framework and complex piping systems through to machinery production and batch work.

We are a long established (1926) family company with an ever expanding order book looking for Fabricator/welders with a strong TIG and/or MIG welding background to join our team on a permanent basis.

Based in Manchester

Ability to work in a fluid environment with changing priorities

Experience in both medium and large fabrications in both carbon and stainless steel

Capable of reading engineering drawings

Attention to detail

Maintain a good standard of housekeeping at all times

What we offer

Hours of work:-

Monday-Thursday 07.45 - 16.30

Friday 07.45 - 12.30

Overtime as available

Job Type - Full-time, Permanent

Salary: up to £16 per hour

25 days holiday plus bank holidays
