In Social Justice, we work with young people and adults in custody and in the community, providing a range of services including offender management and resettlement, mentoring, veterans in custody, victim services, gangs work, and youth justice. We believe that with effective support mechanisms, and the correct interventions, we can change service user’s ideology, helping them to desist from crime, and reach their true potential.
Although based in our Poole hub, or your local office, this position will require travel across the whole Dorset Area - including Bournemouth, North Dorset, East Dorset, Weymouth, Portland, and our local Prisons in Shaftesbury and Portland.
This post presents an exciting opportunity to become a Wellbeing Practitioner at our Personal Wellbeing service, covering the Dorset area. Commissioned by HMPPS, these services are focused on supporting adult male ex-offenders across the following pathways:
