Our engagement with Sporting Bodies is moving to the next level to ensure we are providing an initiative-taking, energetic, sustainable and professional service to sporting partners, enabling them to join our ambitious journey.
The Workforce Governance and Sporting Bodies Manager (WGSBM) role will play an integral part as a key member of the Workforce Governance and Sporting Bodies department to meet our objectives and those of the sector. They will be working with multiple sporting organisations across the UK to support them with their people and workforce strategies through good workforce governance.
These sporting body relationships are primarily focused on amplifying the catalysts in the ‘Uniting the Movement Strategy’, whilst also being connected to the Sport England ‘Coaching Blueprint’ and importantly, linked to Sport England’s and UK Sport Policy response to the Whyte Review. The intent is to introduce an ‘integrated framework’ for the sector that has people, leadership, and workforce governance at the heart of workforce development, whilst also considering and recognising business performance.
