Workshop Foreman/woman

Southern Engineering & Marine Co LTD (Semco) is a company based in Romsey . We offer welding and fabrication services to the Marine, Engineering & Construction industries. We undertake contracts across the country working with a wide range of customers.

We require a workshop foreman with structural steel experience to work in our workshop.

Key experience essential

• To be able to weld and fabricate to a high standard with an eye for detail. Mainly flux core and Solid Mig
• To be able to run a small team of Welder/Fabricators
• Report to management with updates on works progress
• To be able to read fabrication drawings
• To be reliable
• To be able to work on there own or part of a team
• To be able to solve problems by themselves or report any issues that cant be solved without help
• To be willing to go the extra mile at times to get the job done

You be working with a small friendly team of other welder/fabricators.

This role will turn into a full time role for the right candidate.

Salary: £22.00-£28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability
