Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager at our Palo Alto location with the potential to become the acting store manager.

Essential Functions: Assist with planning, directing, managing, and coordinating sales, service, foods, employees, and operational functions as directed by the higher-level Manager.

This position is responsible to work with a Direct Supervisor and the headquarters for directing and coordinating activities of the organization to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits.

Requirements

• Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused restaurant

• Ability to understand and follow rules.
• Ability to understand and control food safety, expiration, prep amount, and loss amount.
• Ability to control labor hours and costs.
• Ability to complete administrative duties.

• Strong time management skills: the ability to multi-task, and prioritize/organize job duties and responsibilities.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

• Ability to stand/walk for approximately 8-10 hours per day

• Available approximately 45 hours per week; able to work flexible hours necessary to manage and operate the restaurant effectively, including weekends and closing shifts as needed

• Leadership and organizational skills with attention to detail

• Proven track record of exceptional customer service

Pay: From $65,000 to $70,000 per year
