The Cricketers is a country pub and dining rooms with a large beer garden and outdoor patio dining in the summer. The pub is a beautifully refurbished and extended early 19th century public house. We are professional and agile.

We're looking for a responsible individual with an outgoing personality to join our team of Servers. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with exceptional customer service skills who is comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment where multitasking is necessary. You should be able to think on your feet and excel in keeping your fellow Servers and managers informed about what's going on in the restaurant. Our Servers are responsible for greeting guests, taking food and drink orders, bringing meals and beverages to guests, processing payments and handling customer complaints in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Look after the needs of customers and ensure that all orders are taken correctly.
• Have knowledge of alcoholic and other drinks.
• Be able to explain menu items to customers.
• Be able to handle multiple orders at once.
• Handle complaints from customers.
• Knowledge of food allergies.
• Assess customer needs and make suggestions.
• Keep up with how busy a shift is getting so that they know how many people they need working.

The new applicant must also:

• Have top-notch social skills, no robot here
• Be available Weekend AND Evenings, It's not a 9-to-5 Job

Salary: £8.50-£10.50 per hour
