Digital delivery is what our Gibraltar office is all about. It’s where the Digi Ops, Product & Marketing Brand teams make it all happen as a cohesive unit; collaborating very closely with Customer Operations in the UK. The beautiful offices, set right on top of the Marina, are a stunning setting for some of our best digital talent to create and execute ideas to keep our digital offering competitive in a tough market.

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with expertise in mobile app development to join our team, based in our Gibraltar office.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, product development, project managers, and development teams to gather, analyse, and document requirements for mobile app development projects.

This is a very independent role and requires the individual to be self-motivated, energetic, and comfortable in a faced-paced environment. The projects are broad, where you will work closely with business stakeholders, product, and technical teams. The ability to create strong working relationships with diverse groups of individuals will be paramount to success in the role.

Responsibilities:

• Working as part of the group-wide delivery function, reporting directly to the heads of delivery
• Identifying business stakeholders and building strong working relationships with them
• Collaborating with project (initiative) sponsors to determine the initial scope and vision
• Collaborating with the product and technical teams in order to bridge the gap between their areas and articulate technical solutions in a digestible form that can be consumed by the business stakeholders
• Collaborating with the delivery squads (agile teams) to assist with design queries that may arise during the build sprint cycles, helping them to achieve customer sign-off
• Providing business process design and documentation expertise, applying best practices gleaned from previous experience
• Gathering, understanding, and translating business requirements from initiatives, and breaking them down into detailed epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and training strategies where required.
• Providing stakeholders with accurate and measurable estimates for business analysis deliverables
• Developing a broad understanding of Rank Group products and a deeper knowledge across an agreed subset in order to act as a Subject Matter Expert
• Offer expertise to support product managers and internal customer groups in identifying opportunities to maximize business value from existing technology and app ecosystem, particularly in the area of app development
• Providing process & application portfolio expertise to Service Transition and BAU teams
• Working in an organisation that is moving toward a scaled agile methodology, seeking out relentless improvement in our delivery approach

• Detailed knowledge and experience in implementing IT related business projects, which involve multiple activities and streams of people from both IT and business teams
• Experience of agile methodologies, with frequent deliveries in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in working with distributed teams
• Experience of working in a multi-channel digital and/or retail organisation
• Gaming industry experience – an advantage
• JIRA & Confluence experience – an advantage
• Dynamics 365 experience or implementation - an advantage
• Technology development background - an advantage
