What you will be doing

• As a Care Assistant within Calico Homes’ Barley View team in Whitworth, you will work closely with older people offering an innovative and high-quality service to support those with care needs and dementia.
• Your role will involve delivering exceptional personal care, interacting with the residents to understand their needs, liaising with health professionals and families, welcoming new residents and playing an important role in enabling our residents to lead purposeful and meaningful lives.
• As a Care Assistant you will need to be able to work with older people and those with dementia alongside our dedicated care team at our beautiful home – Barley View, providing support to our residents and their families.
• The role requires the successful candidate to be able to work 12 hour shifts, the working days are 3 days over 7 and will include weekend work every other weekend.
• You will be based at Barley View Care Home, Market Street, Whitworth, OL12 8BD.
