Duty Manager/Team Leader

We are excited to be recruiting a new member to our management team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, dynamic and open to new ideas and concepts. Already very close to taking the next step to running your own unit, you will need to demonstrate leadership potential. Someone who is looking to progress and grow into a larger role would suit the position perfectly. This position is a hands-on role with scope for increased responsibility and progression. Our requirements are:

Essential:

• Minimum 2 years appropriate experience in restaurant/drinks/leisure sector
• Previous exposure to delivery operations (Deliveroo, Just Eat, Uber Eats)
• Exceptional communication skills
• Good computer skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proven ability to inspire and motivate your team
• Excellent food and drink knowledge
• Knowledge of current Health and Safety/Food Hygiene Regulations

Preferred:·

• Drivers License and own transportation
• Barista training
• Previous experience making and serving cocktails

The role is flexible and has the option to be undertaken across our three sites, on a four shifts per week basis. Dependent upon experience, the role will encompass management of various aspects of our operation: food counter service, barista service and cocktail bar.

Reporting to the Unit Manager, duties would include:

• Opening and closing of a venue
• Basic cookery and food preparation
• Management of the team during business hours
• Following cashing up and banking procedures
• Involvement in recruitment and induction of new employees
• Maintaining company standards.
