Food Manufacturing Operator | 6am-6pm (Patak's)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Ready to Eat (RTE) team, who make our world class pappadum’s, in a role responsible for packing and processing finished goods. This role is on a continental 6am-6pm shift pattern.

What's the role about?

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be primarily based within the packing end of production, responsible for running various pieces of packing machinery and processing the finished goods, ready for dispatch.

All tasks must be completed in a manner to achieve the safe, hygienic, efficient and best-cost manufacture of all designated products to the required quality, specification and quantity.

• Organised, conscientious and be confident in their ability to operate machinery
• Awareness of basic food hygiene (trained in-house)
• Awareness and understanding of all CCP’s for the line
• Awareness and understanding of Health and Safety
• High level of numeracy and literacy as well as working accurately in completing paperwork and in calculations.
• Good Communication skills – working collaboratively with operatives and the Technicians and Team Leader
